A bit about me...I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 2004 and worked for 15 years in the NHS across a number of settings, including child development centres, preschool services, primary and secondary schools, autism assessment clinics, and other tertiary teams. I joined the neurodisability team at Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2010 where I worked as a Clinical Lead SLT from 2012-2019. In 2020, I began working in private practice and later established Language Space. I work with children and young people with a range of speech, language or social communication needs and have clinical specialisms in child language development, autism spectrum condition, neurodevelopment, and acquired brain injury.
My ethosI love my job and am passionate about helping children and young people develop their speech, language and communication skills. I have a child-centred approach, working together with families, nurseries or schools, to fully understand a child's strengths, abilities and needs and provide support that is both effective and meaningful. I pride myself on offering a personalised and flexible approach to both assessment and therapy that best fits a child's personality, interests and needs.
